Care instructions:
Wash cold, tumble or hang to dry, press on cotton setting if desired. All fabric is preshrunk, inks are heat set and permanent. A small amount of fading and softening of the inks will occur with washing over time, improving the overall look and feel of the product.
About Cottage Cloth:
I use a traditional block printing method based on hand carved designs, which are printed in low-impact permanent textile inks that are non-solvent based. Each piece is carefully and thoughtfully printed one at a time using preshrunk, soft yet highly durable 100% organic cotton canvas.
I strive for a zero-waste production system that begins with no discarded fabric remnants to minimal water use during clean up. I pride myself in creating one of a kind, Earth friendly, beautiful textiles that generate a sense of joy and calm.
